most of the damage new headlight coming right up!  xxx Sunday, March 21, 2004 had an AWESOME weekend. it was filled with lots of adventures... yes indeed. saturday consisted of a tire changing bonanza out in el cajon. what was supposed to be a half-an-hour-$20-tire-change turned into a 2-hour-babysitting-drawn-out-tire-change. but its all good... cuz now i have new doughnuts for malady and had a good time hanging out and getting to know deniz. ended up hanging out at his place afterwards for some good 'ol old school nintendo fun - dr. mario. what i learned from that is - video games don't have to be compicated to be entertaining. afterwards, hooked up with sean, and the 3 of us had a movie extravaganza. we were supposed to meet up with brian, yuka and friends at fashion valley for starsky and hutch. but they couldn't really make it in time cuz 'and friends' were just heading out. fashion valley ended up being packed up the wazoo... so we went back to amc la jolla... 2 mins. from where we left from. :\ the movie was hilarious... highly recommend it to all. you gotta see it... just DO IT. DO IT. yeah... DO IT. hahahaha :D today woke up at 7:30, met up with the R6 posse and friends and hit up p-momma for pretty much the entire day. its funny how the weather are complete opposites at the bottom and the top of the mountain. it was foggy and moist, but once we hit this gas station near the casino, the sun came out, and it was clear blue sky and warm summerish temperatures. made lots of great runs up and down the mountain... MORE than scrubbed in my tires. got a great feel for them too. the 70 profile front and lowering the forks really make the bike a lot more stable and gives me a better front end feel. i got progressively faster through the day... and i'm glad i got to practice for this friday's laguna seca trackday. finished out the day, came home, showered, then did more motorcycle stuff. everyone met up at jason's place and i changed my oil, cleaned and lubed my chain and overall cleaned the bike up. its looks CLEAN now! wow. so my whole weekend was motorcycle stuff. i missed church too. i don't want to do that again. but thank you God for good friends and even being able to ride a motorcycle and enjoy your creation.

this was a week and a half ago. just thought i'd post it up anyways. i like pictures. more to come! xxx Wednesday, March 17, 2004 whoo hoo! my internet's up! man... san diego is AWESOME. i am loving it down here! can't wait for the weekend to come! i work hard during the weekdays... then i have superduper 2 day vacations! on a bummer note... they don't have my size of the nike air wildwood's at niketown anymore. :( *sniff* oh well... guess it wasn't meant to be. BUH bye. xxx Wednesday, March 10, 2004 well! it looks like i've finally made it down here to beautiful san diego! i'm pretty excited and stoked to be down here. this past week has been such a blessing with so many reminders of why i love san diego - the awesome weather, the laid-back people, the higher standard of life that is to be had here, etc. :) today was kind of tough... kind of had an emotional break-down on the way out from the office into the field. was talking to my dad on the phone for a little bit and he was asking about my move, about stuff in LA... and i suddenly got emotional. i think i just miss the familiar. going back to the apartment i've called home for over a year... seeing the familiar faces i usually see... knowing that certain things are where they're supposed to be, etc. i felt out of place all of a sudden. ironic huh? me loving it so much down here... but at the same time feeling out of place? i suppose this is the same for all things... takes a little getting used to. my room is still a cluttered mess. planning to clean it up this weekend. gonna do some riding too. oh man. i need some money. this move is killing my bank account. oh yeah! my birthday is coming up... here's a birthday list for those of you who are looking to get me something. hahaha... yeah right. oh well... won't hurt to put it up! josh's birthday list: 1. electric razor 2. sonicare toothbrush (my gums are receeding... eeks!) 3. nike air wildwood 4. new toiletries travel bag 5. element sweatshirt 6. new suit 7. trackday 8. cd-writer 9. halogen desklamp 10. um... money. xxx Thursday, March 04, 2004 wow this is cool. if you go to google and search for "josh chiu", my webpage is the first to come up. go search for me! yes... go do it now! xxx Tuesday, March 02, 2004 man... what a good time with albert tonight. its funny cuz we both realized what an awesome friendship we've developed just over the last couple of times we've met. i have no complaints. :D we talked about so much... so in tune with what each other was saying, sharing - we were definitely on the same page - and everything was just so honest, so open. good times. albert... you're my boy and i'll always have your back. gonna miss you bro. xxx Monday, March 01, 2004 wanted to wear my retainer's again tonight... but i think i broke em. :( the front wire for my top one hangs down... cuz the last time i tried putting em in... i could only take em out by yanking on the wire. :( boo. i noticed my teeth weren't as straight as they used to. a certain someone used to love my teeth... so i thought i should make em straight and maybe someone else will love them again. haha. oh well. maybe i'll visit my old orthodontist back home sometime... xxx |
