rawr! xxx Thursday, June 10, 2004 saw switchfoot in concert tonight! it was AWESOME! never been to a good rock-out concert before. last concert i remember going to was a backstreet boys one back in high school. oh wait! i did see Lit in concert at the del mar fair a few summers ago! anyways... it was totally jam-packed at SOMA. i don't really know their songs all that well, cept for the ones that get radio play, but it was definitely amazing watching them put on a show! i think i might become a concert junky now. :\ too bad i didn't bring my digi, otherwise i would post up some pics. its late, time for bed, ta ta for now. xxx Tuesday, June 08, 2004 life has been good. work has been busy, but really fun. been able to get a couple of people interested in refinancing their houses... we'll just have to see if they pan out. (: past weekend was awesome... rode almost all of saturday and had the best of times hanging out with sean, nic, bryant, and the rest of the crew. i think i'm finally ok with being single. wow... its pretty much been a year. yet, it is still fresh in my mind and heart like it was just yesterday. there are always those moments... when i first wake in the morning, those quiet alone times before i fall asleep, and the little dabs inbetween that i still think, miss, and reminisce. i know God has someone prepared or one that He's still preparing for me... and i've found its when i stop trusting Him... and when i get caught up in my emotions and thoughts that I have the hardest time. as a church we've been reading through the beginning of the Bible as well as proverbs - one per day of the month. i always look forward to the end of the month as proverbs 31 rolls around... "... days go by and still i think bout you..." - dirty vegas

Clerk: Our lowest price is $12 a gallon, and we have 60 different prices, up to $200 a gallon. Customer: What's the difference in paint? Clerk: It's all the same paint. Customer: Then I'd like some of the $12 paint. And I want to paint tomorrow. Clerk: Sir, the paint for tomorrow is $200. Customer: How do I get the $12 paint? Clerk: You buy the paint now, but agree not to paint for three weeks. And you must paint over a Saturday night. Customer: You've got to be kidding! Clerk: Oh, the price per gallon just went to $16. Customer: The price went up as we were talking? Clerk: Yes, sir. We change the prices and rules hundreds of times a day. So I suggest you purchase your paint as soon as possible. How many gallons do you want? Customer: Five gallons. Make that six, so I'll have enough. Clerk: Well, sir, if you buy paint and don't use it, there are penalties and possible confiscation of paint you already have. Customer: Forget it! I'll buy what I need somewhere else. Clerk: I don't think so, sir. You can buy paint for your bathroom and bedrooms from someone else, but you can only buy paint for your connecting hall from us. That'll be $300 a gallon. Customer: You're insane!
