scan and pan shot xxx Thursday, July 01, 2004 wow haven't posted in a while. looking back on the day... today was an awesome day! its funny how i'm only realizing it now as i type. :) i've been feeling pretty under the weather the last couple of days... due to lack of restful sleep. i don't know why, but the past nights just were not restful at all. i took off work early yesterday, came home and slept for 3 hours. now that was mmmm mmmm good sleep! :D but perhaps the power nap was what kept me up til 2am, tossing and turning in bed. *sigh* anyways, the sun finally came out of its gloom, and so did my sickness! even with just 5 or so hours of sleep, i felt fine and dandy. work has been frustrating. people are frustrating. they don't get back to you. they don't WORK with you... i mean... c'mon people! i'm trying to get you a good loan here! ok, end of rant. (: got back from work and went for a run for the first time in a loooong time. man, i need to take advantage of being near the ocean... or i'll just waste my time here like during my 4 years at ucsd. i went to the beach seriously TWICE, or something like that. took a nice run to OB... the moon was huge tonight, and the weather pleasantly cool. it would've been a perfect night to take a walk with a special someone. :D took a shower, burned some cd's, then went on over to some ex-co-worker's apt across the way. on the way over, saw an older gentleman with 2 kids. seaworld is just a hop and skip away, and they randomly do fireworks during the weeknights. awww it was so cute! the kids were so excited! they only had one older-gentleman-shoulder to sit on, so i walked on over and offered mine. it was fun... even though it ended right as i hoisted him up. haha. looking forward to the weekend. saturday going to the track to feel some power between my legs. haha. going with a lot of good buddies... so i'm pretty gosh darn excited. will post pics when i return. sunday, hopefully will be spent with good friends. now i'm just sittin' here... listening to the 50 first dates soundtrack (highly recommend) and reading before i head off to bed. i'm happy. xxx |
