past couple of days have been tight! saturday woke up bright and early, brought my baby (crotchrocket) over to a friends place - it needed some tweaking for my upcoming trackday this sat.! whoohoo i can't wait! its been a long while since i've had some serious saddle time. :\ spent the afternoon on boogie boards amidst the waves of la jolla shores with tim. it was a good time talking about relationships, girls, relationships, and more girls. haha. i guess that's what single men in their 20's talk about. errr... besides sports and work... yeeeeeeeah. :D at night caught garden state with carlos and riz. like i mentioned in the previous post, it was great! carlos told me today that i laugh really loud. *edit: just read his comment below as well* that's not a bad thing right? :) sunday took my friend faustine to the rock for the first time, i'm glad she liked it. then after lunch i got an unexpected call from micah! my old college buddy - he was in town for a visit. so we headed down to blacks for some surfing. man, i ate it so much that day. he did give me some very good pointers tho. then from about 3ish til 11ish helped tiff and diane move! man it was definitely a good workout... especially since rimac is getting renovated or whatever... i haven't gone in a while. oh and since i spent so much time around diane... i say 'tight' all the time now. i think tight is a tight word. yesterday after work, met up with ingrid... had some surfside sushi then a mad cd burning session. dang... we were playing cards... she's soooo good at war. i kept losing all my good cards to her. haha (: *sigh* its been so nice reconnecting and also making some new relationships. i was just thanking God while i was driving to work today. but i also realized that i need to remember exactly how i feel now, how my trust in Him is more THERE, how i'm happy, how i'm not griping. and its exactly because things are going "well" that i'm at this point. i know that i need to save these last couple of days, put them away in the back of my mind, and when i'm in that low place again... pull it out, and just say, "God is good all the time."

yummy xxx Sunday, August 22, 2004 went to troy and darren's going away party last night at rock bottom. it was a pretty rockin' time i tell ya! i'm glad i went, because i saw a lot of old people from college that i got a chance to reconnect, catch up, and swap some digits with. (: here are some pics! there was a grip load of people... but as you can tell from the pictures... seems my camera only liked certain individuals! haha.

i am bubba-dudda xxx Wednesday, August 11, 2004 whoo hoo! got a haircut today. i like it. it was pretty much a confidence booster... cuz the moment gretchen (my stylist, yes i think she shall be my stylist from now on) touched my hair, she couldn't stop gushing about my hair texture! (: she said it was PERFECT, and i had just the look to be a hair model. hahaha. yeah... she even went as far as to ask if i was full chinese, because my hair obviously isn't "chinese hair". so here are the pics!

after xxx Monday, August 09, 2004 so i guess i haven't really blogged anything really significant for a long time. so now's the time to do it? haha - probably not. lets see... what's been going in my life. well, there's there usual work, workout, eat, sleep, start-over again routine. yeah so that's been the same. um, working out has been great... i can choose to go into work at 11 any given day, so i've been getting up at 7ish and hittin' the gym hardcore. caleb got me started on this workout and i'm really seeing results. i've never gone over 165 lbs. before, but there was one day that i weighed 166.4 lbs! whoo hoo! *beams with pride* (: work's been frustrating the past 2 weeks... i was in a slump of some sort. thankgoodness... i think i'm coming out of it. looks like i'll have at least 3 loans funding this month, so we're talking bout some bank! but then... there's credit cards to pay off... rent... food... freakin' expensive gas... and then i'm not left with much. moneyshmoney... right? :D oh yeah! i moved! no longer am i in ocean beach... i am now in mira mesa. moved in with 3 other guys into a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath place. pretty schweet if you ask me! i like it lots. i'll post some pics of my room soon. anyways... here are some pictures from nathan and sinath's wedding last weekend.
