oh! forgot to post this. zoe messaged caleb while we were at work yesterday. i think she typed some, the other ones were probably typed by jonathan or nia. she's 3! isn't she adorable. i think so. (: this past weekend was one of the greatest. went up north again for the weekend. saturday - got to hang out with family once more, and that is always a blast! in the morning, spent a lot of time playing with the behbeh's. zoe is forever getting smarter, and ian is still cute as ever. the ladies had a very good time together, and bonded instantly, even tho our last time together was in hawaii 2 years ago, and zoe was only 1. they had 'girl talk', played playdough, and after a while, zoe would side with linda on most everything! :/ zoe said, "this was the funnest day ever playing playdough and playing with you *looks at lin*"... "oh and you too *points at me*" i'm now just a sidenote. ;  the ladies having a good time  ian lining up his cars linda's baby cousin brandon also turned 1 years old, so we stopped by to celebrate with him in the afternoon. there was damn good food, lots of crafts, water fights, and laughter! hilarity! watch linda throw her elbow O.o  king and queen for a day! and then finally, saturday evening, went to my friend tri's wedding. congratulations tri and becky! the wedding food was ehh... alright, but it was lots of fun! both linda and i knew no one except the groom (actually, she didn't even know him), so we amused ourselves by being oh-so-superficial, and rated people on their looks on a scale of 1-10. HAHA - kind of wrong, but kind of very fun! :P the girls at our table were hilarious too. they had no shame in terms of eating, were very raucous, and drank 3 bottles of hennessy while they were at it. o.O  the lucky man himself! came home and had some fun with the camera and making faces! there's more on my jusspress. (:  this one is "i just farted", lol :D sunday - drove back down to LA. on the way, stopped by gilroy outlets! man! lemme tell you, they have some good deals. i got myself 2 t-shirts from pacsun for $24. linda got a pair of corderoys and some shirts. when i make some money, i'm definitely going there to upgrade my work wardrobe. made it back down to LA, and had some dinner with swan, sinath, and nathan at souplantation.  sin and lin  linda modeling her new duds along with "blue steel" what a good weekend. only thing about this month is, i haven't been in sd ONCE on the weekends. this coming weekend, heading up to LA again for the nike one hit wonder 10k run. call me up if you're in LA and wanna hang out. xxx Friday, September 09, 2005 a story on how gulliable i am: so i was at the gym the other day. after i warm up on the treadmill, i usually stretch. one stretch that i do is for my back... i grab something solid and basically lean/pull back. so, i was doing this stretch, grabbing onto the stairway railing next to the racquet ball courts. this guy, opens the door from where he's playing, and says, "don't pull too hard, you'll break it." my immediate response was, "really?" there was another guy watching them play and he started cracking up and couldn't stop laughing. at that moment, i felt really dumb. :\ oh well... i guess thats what happens when you're trusting of people... you give them a good laugh. ;\ xxx Monday, September 05, 2005 went to streets of willow this past friday, had a blast! here are some pictures. first time out with the new kawasaki, and that thing railed! :D  the hypercycles/buymoto gang!  leeeeeean  rush hour  me and mikey on the front straight  driving out of the bowl  duking it out with jared  getting passed by jared :/ xxx Thursday, September 01, 2005 overwhelmed. that is what i'm feeling at this very moment. work is frustrating, my clients are being exactly what they are... people - unfaithful, inappreciative, stringing me along. my finances are kind of in shambles. i think i can manage, but things keep popping up that cause me to spend more money. just last week, i felt good, i liked spending money. now i don't, i keep a daily log of what i spend on, and i just want to horde it and put it all away in savings. my car is still sitting in a garage up in LA - NOT working. thinking about buying a new or used car, but not sure if it would be a smart financial move. memorial service for julie coming up next weekend up in the bay area. then going up again the weekend after that for a friend's wedding. then a 10k run in LA the weekend after that. busy busy busy... i feel pulled in all directions... do you ever get that feeling? i think once my two loans close, things will simmer down a lot more. i don't like how money permeates through all aspects of life. i wish it wasn't as significant... or that i just had a lot of it. yeah, that would make it less significant. *sigh* xxx |
