 school apps, due 12/1. 'nuff said. please pray for me. xxx Saturday, November 18, 2006 i need to keep going. whenever i stop, or take too long of a break, i lapse. but when i get going again, i start rolling... bigger and bigger like a runaway snowball. and i accomplish. i want to accomplish. i'm tired of being idle. thought my goals still seem far off, i know i need to keep on moving. as a friend also wrote today... 'we need to keep chopping away at the duties in front of us'. *chop chop choppity chop i still yearn... xxx Wednesday, November 15, 2006  only in LA, hehe more pictures on dropshots! did you know that girls give different types of hugs to guys? let me list them out for you: side-hug: "oh hi, we're just friends, yes hugging you is awkward." front hug: "oh hi, you're my friend, i like you, but not in that way, and i have no qualms in hugging you." front hug with some boobage: "oh hi, i'm kind of interested in you, you're attractive, oh hi." lingering front hug: "oh hi, i'm trying to let you know i like you, i hope you're not so dense to not notice." front hug with hips/loins touching: "oh baby, you light my fire." front hug with wrap around grabbing buttock: "i want you NOW." *disclaimer: these are my views as a male, i am making assumptions. if i am wrong in any way, or if you are offended, please contact me. thank you. also, i was presented with an interesting scenario today while in the elevator coming home from school. these two middle-eastern-looking girls were yapping away in a foreign language. it didn't sound middle-eastern, so i said, "excuse me, what are you guys speaking?" turns out they were japanese speaking persians!! now ain't that something?! xxx Thursday, November 09, 2006 I feel fulfilled. Have you ever felt that way? The funny thing is, I feel this way NOT because I'm financially set, or have a nice plasma tv, or all this nice clothes in my closet. Honestly, I'm really poor. HAHA. I'm currently working 3 job (cleaning, PT, islands), volunteering at the hospital, and going to school. My weeks are packed... I hardly even have the time or energy to run or go to the gym. But I'm fulfilled. I'm fulfilled not only because these things keeping me busy, but because I'm serving others. I like that. I like sitting with an 80 year old patient waiting for him to finish icing... listening to his stories, his words of wisdom, and his comment on how young I look. I like being one of the older guys at the restaurant... being on task, diligent, and being a good example of Christ to the younger ones. I like doing my jobs well, and being respected and well-liked because of that. Thank you Jesus for helping me be more like you. (: xxx |
